A family reunion of the children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Garbisch of
Granton was held at Wildwood Park at Marshfield on Sunday, July 15, 1973. The
couple’s four daughters are living. Two sons are deceased. The children and
their husbands present were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Marg of Granton, Mr. and Mrs.
Emanuel Romang Jr. of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Ortwin Schimmel, and Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Tucker, all of Superior.
Other relatives and friends present were: Miss Marjorie Lautenbach and Joe
Felser and Miss Ruth Marg and Roger, Rizner, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pischer and
daughter, all of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Don Bartsch and children Rhonda,
Russell, and Ronnie, Randy Schuelke, Mrs. Frederick Garbisch Sr. and children
Elsie and John, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lautenbach and Dianne, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald
Garbisch and children Robert, Terry and Tammie, all of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Blomberg of Loyal; Mrs. Kay Schneider and children Jennifer and Jeffrey, Emalyn
and Rich Tucker, all of Superior; Mrs. Pearl Werner, Mrs. Vicki Berlich and
Michael, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Olson and children Richard, Robert, Anna Marie,
Roseann, Michael and Melissa of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Duane Marg and children
Sherry, Melissa, Susan, Danny, and David and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Garbisch Jr.
and Randy, Brenda and Shelly, all of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Romang and son
Samuel, Andrew, Timothy and William, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Engstrom Sr., all of
Wausau; Mrs. Joyce Marge and Steven, Kevin, Michael, Jeffrey, Timothy, Kim,
Robert, Gary, Richard and Vickie of Owen; Mrs. Agnes Wallace of Platteville; Mr.
and Mrs. Jerry Lautenbach of Sauk City; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pischer and Jason
of Madison, and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Skonecki and daughters Anne and Jayne of
Milwaukee.
A potluck dinner and supper were served. The children enjoyed swimming and the
adults reminisce and played cards.
