Riplinger, Ellis C. (1906 - 03 September 1983)

Word has been received of the death of Colby native Ellis C. Riplinger. 77, of Bloomfield, New Jersey. He died September 3 at the Van Dyk Nursing Home in Montclair, New Jersey.

He was born in 1906 in Colby and graduated from Colby High School in 1924. He was a 1928 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He was employed for 43 years by Kopper Company, Inc as a chemical engineer.

Survivors include a son, Donald of Rochester, New York; a brother Frank of Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota; and a sister, Mrs. Peter (Helen) Strom of Bremerton, Washington.

His sister, Hazel of Abbotsford died August 31.
