Buchholz, Cathy Ann (25 Aug 1973)

Making their first home at the Maplewood Terrace Mobile Home Court in Abbotsford are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Bauer, the former Cathy Ann Buchholz, who were married Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First United Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford.

Rev. Keun Won Park performed the wedding ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Buchholz of 605 Spruce Street, Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bauer of Route 1, Abbotsford.

For her wedding day the bride chose a white dress with high waist, V-neckline, puffed sleeves and A-Line skirt with ruffle at the hemline. Her shoulder length veil was secured by a flowered satin headpiece, and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

Attending the couple as best man and matron of honor were the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Buchholz. Carol Buchholz, the bride’s sister, and James Schuette also attended the couple. Ushers were Alan Buchholz and Robert Olson.

The matron of honor was attired in a blue dress with V-neckline, white collar and white lace trim on the sleeves. The bridesmaids wore a floor length dress with floral bodice, puffed sleeves and yellow skirt. They wore matching floral headpieces.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Denise Loucks and Robert Jacobs.

Following the ceremony the couple was honored at a reception….(the rest of my article was cut off).
