Eslinger, Mr. and Mrs. Carl (55th – 9 June 1981)
Friends and neighbors came to help Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eslinger celebrate their
55th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 30.
They were married on June 9, 1926, at St. Peter’s Church in Mishicot in
Manitowoc County. The celebration was given by their daughter, Arlene Hilliard,
and her son, Kevin, and by their grandsons, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pozega and family
of North Dakota and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Pozega of Chili.
Those who attended from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Johanek, Maribel,
who were bestman and matron of honor at the Eslinger’s wedding; Mr. and Mrs.
Anton Johanek, Kewaunee; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stangel, Two Rivers; Mrs. Laddie
Walechka, and Mrs. Richard Plansky, Kewaunee, who was flower girl for the
wedding; Nona Essie, Madison; Mr./Mrs. Gordon Blumer and family, Brookley; Mr.
and Mrs. Jerry Ives and family, Colfax; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pozega and family,
N.D.; and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seelow. Mrs. Seelow was a bridesmaid at the
Eslinger’s wedding.
Many neighbors and friends were also present. A reception and buffet supper was
served at the Dairyland Fox and Coon Clubhouse.
