David and Edna Laabs of The House of Dav_Ed in Abbotsford were recognized for
their support of the Wisconsin dairy industry through excellence in food service
and for serving butter and other dairy products, by the state’s dairymen members
of the American Dairy Association of Wisconsin.
An attractive plaque, featuring a golden butter knife and with the following
inscription, “Golden Butter Knife Award – Presented to House of Dav_Ed By the
American Dairy Association of Wisconsin,” was presented August 8, 1973 by Donald
Albrecht of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, District 11 State Board Member.
In presenting the award, Albrecht congratulated the restaurant and its staff for
their continual effort to bring fine food to the Abbotsford community.
