Conrad Orth of Colby has been appointed a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars
National Veterans Service Committee by National Commander-In-Chief, Patrick E.
Carr of Metairie, Louisiana.
He will service the V.F.W.’s74th annual National Convention August 17-24, 1973,
in New Orleans, Louisiana. The committee will consider proposed resolution which
were adopted by local Posts and passed at Department (state) conventions.
The resolutions which pass at the National Convention will guide the
organization,” Carr said, “and it takes a highly qualified person to debate the
resolutions before they are submitted to the convention floor. Orth is such a
person, and I am pleased to appoint him to this position.”
