The Clark County Dairy Judging Team place fifth in the state in the State 4-H Judging contest held at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in Milwaukee on Wednesday, August 15, 1973.

Members of the team are Janis Sischo, Mound View 4-H Club; Ed Wilke, Prosperity Pea Pickers 4-H Club; Dave Capelle and Jackie Wissell, Loyal, Lads and Lassies 4-H Club.

Individually, Janis Sischo place seventh and Ed Wilke received an eighth place individual award. Tony Mayer, Chili 4-H Club was one of the cattle leadsmen for the contest. The group was accompanied to the contest by Victor C. Wagner, Clark County Farm Management Agent.

This is the second appearance in the state contest for the Clark County 4-H group in the last three years. Participation in the state contest is based on the winning of the district contest, which was held in June at St. Croix Falls.
