Sossaman, Ruby (16 Sep 1929 – 02 Sep 1973)
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 4, 1973 in Kingdom Hall at
Dorchester for Mrs. Darrell (Ruby) Sossaman, 43, who died Sunday morning at St.
Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she had been admitted on August 29, 1973.
The services for the Abbotsford resident were conducted by Ralph Schultz, with
burial in the Abbotsford Cemetery. Visitation was held at the Lulloff Funeral
Home in Colby on Monday.
The former Ruby Lindberg was born September 16, 1929 in the Town of Hull,
Marathon County. She was married to Darrell Sossaman in Abbotsford on February
14, 1947. She spent most of her life in Abbotsford, except for a ten years
period from 1948 to 1958, when they resided in Milwaukee. She was a member of
the Jehovah’s Witness – Kingdom Hall at Dorchester.
Surviving are her husband; two children, Kathy and Mark; four sisters, Mrs.
Sandra Faudel of Round Lake, Illinois; Mrs. Doris Wolfe of Wausau, Mrs. Eugene
(Phyllis) Leu of Colby and Mrs. Gary (Lenore) Gebert of Dorchester; and four
brothers, Wayne and John Lindberg of Abbotsford, Robert Lindberg, Virginia
Beach, Virginia, and Darrell Lindberg, Round Lake, Illinois.
