Hardrath, Corinne Fay (1 Sep 1973)

Miss Corinne Fay Hardrath, daughter of Mrs. Faith Sonnemann of Route 2, Colby, and Bernard Allan Hatch, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Watson of Route 1, Mosinee, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 1973, by the Rev. Bervie A. Scott in the United Methodist Church at Colby.

For her wedding day the bride chose a bouffant gown of Red Rosepoint lace with high neckline and Basque bodice. Her silk illusion veil fell from a Juliet cap headpiece, She carried a cascade bouquet of pink and red roses, lily of the valley, stephanotis and forget-me-nots.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Dorrine Hardrath of Colby. Bridesmaids were Denis Dibble and Virginia Cooper of Colby. The best man was John Kirschbaum of Stratford and groomsmen were Ed VanDerLeest of Stratford and Mike Rinehart of Colby. The groom’s brother, Kurt Watson of Mosinee, performed the ushering services.

The bridal attendants wore floor length dresses with white nylon sheer bodice over a flocked floral nylon sheer print skirt. They carried white wicker baskets of daisies, mums, pom poms and star flowers.

Debbie Pankow was the organist for the ceremony.

After dinner in the church hall, the wedding guests departed to a dance at the Holiday Lanes in Stratford.

The bride is a 1973 graduate of Colby High School. Her husband graduated from Stratford High School in 1972, and is employed at Weyerhaeuser Company. They will be making their home at Route 1, Stratford.
