Bahn, Chester – Drowning (1928? – 7 Sep 1973)
Funeral services were held Monday, September 10, 1973 at the Derrick Funeral
Home in Lake Geneva for Chester Bahn, 45, who drowned early Friday morning a the
lake where he was employed as a night watchman. Rev. James Kennedy officiated,
and burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bahn was born in the Town of Green Grove, rural Colby, the son of the late
Walter and Meta Bahn, and moved with his parents to the Lake Geneva area.
Survivors include his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Bernita) Knickerbocker,
Elmira, N.Y., and Mrs. Charles (Geraldine) Pitts of Eagle, Colorado.
