Cukla, David P. (3 August 1941 – 4 April 2022)

David P. Cukla, 80, of Abbotsford, formerly of Thorp, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at his home.

David Paul Cukla was born on August 3, 1941, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, WI, the son of Paul W. and Frances J. (Szatalowicz) Cukla. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at area schools. After completing his education, David farmed with his parents for many years. He was united in marriage to Nancy M. Giloy on August 28, 1992, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood, and they resided in Abbotsford.

He is survived by his sister, Bernadette (Clayton) Aumann of Green Bay, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy, on April 17, 2006; and his sister, Sr. Mary Paulette "Geraldine" Cukla.

Private family graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at New St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery in Thorp, with Rev. Baskaran Sandhiyagu officiating.
