Kodl, Milton J. Jr. (16 November 1934 – 1 April 2022) With Flag

Milton J. Kodl Jr., age 87, of Owen, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center.
Milton was born in Illinois on November 16, 1934, the son of Milton and Edna (Nieman) Kodl Sr. Milton enlisted in the US Air Force where he received his GED from high school. After his honorable discharge Milton received an Associate Degree from Devry University in computer engineering. He worked for AT&T Telephone Company in Chicago for 27 years, retiring in 1989. He was united in marriage to Norma Ragas on March 14, 1990, in the Philippines. They moved to Owen on July 2, 1990.

Milton is survived by his wife: Norma of Owen; two sons: Milton John (Jennifer) Kodl III, and Brian Kodl; grandchildren: Nate Kodl and Josh Kodl. He is further survived by his siblings: Marjorie Smith, Jeanette McCatharn and Deborah White.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister: Elaine Kienholz

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with arrangements
