The annual family reunion of the descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Viegut, who resided in the town of Wien, was held Sunday, September 9, 1973 at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Winistorfer, Stratford.
A potluck dinner and supper were served. A special cake was provided by Mrs.
Robert Aschenbrenner in honor of several birthdays near the reunion date.
Games and races provided entertainment, with winners receiving prizes. Special
prizes were received by Mrs. Emma Viegut for coming the longest distance;
Bernard Denk, (unreadable prize), Jason McKee, youngest member, and Mrs. Fred
Rausseau, oldest member.
Members received the scrapbook of past reunions, prepared by Mrs. Donald Hoesly,
Edgar, Route 1.
Committee members were Mr. and Mrs. Loren Winistorfer, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Viegut and Emma Viegut.
Next year’s committee consists of Mrs. Ervin Viegut and Walter McKee.
Guests were: Mrs. Emma Viegut, Rib Lake; Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Viegut, Abbotsford;
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Theilig and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rausseau, Brokaw; Mr. and Mrs.

Ervin Viegut, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Denk, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Viegut and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Walter McKee and Mr. and Mrs. Walter McKee Jr. and son Jason,
Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hoesly and family, Edgar; Mrs. Robert Breu and
family, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. David Jaster, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Winistorfer,
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Custer and Jon, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Aschenbrenner and
Blaine, and Lamar Winistorfer and family of Stratford.
