Winchell, Mr./Mrs. Albert (40th – Sep 1973)

The 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Winchell was observed at a party September 23, 1973 at Tripoli.

The Winchells were both born and raise in the Dorchester area, lived, were married and farmed there until 1949, when they moved to Medford, where Mr. Winchell was employed by the Oconomowoc Canning Factory. He was transferred to Merrill in 1953, and they lived there until his retirement in 1964. They have lived on Pier Lake since his retirement.

The couple has two daughters, Mrs. Lavern Yorde of Merrill, and Mrs. Hebert Prange, Tripoli, and ten grandchildren.

Some 250 guests, including area people, were present for the occasion.
