Army Reserve Pvt. Rae J. Lucas, daughter of Paul D. Lucas, Route 2, Colby, and
Mary E. Lucas of Plainfield, had completed basic training at Fort Dix, New
Jersey.
During the training, students received instruction in drill ceremonies, weapons,
Map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid, and Army
history and traditions.
