Army Sp-5 John P. Geiger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Geiger, Dorchester, is
assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.
Specialist Geiger is an air traffic controller in troop A, 1st Battalion of the
Division’s 9th Cavalry. He entered the army in September 1968, and completed
basic training at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.
He is a 1968 graduate of Colby High School.
His wife, Elfriede, is with him in Texas.
