Area business places will be selling tickets to the Diane Roytek Benefit Dance,
which will be held at Dorchester Memorial Hall on Thursday, November 8, 1973, at
8 p.m.
Diane, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Roytek, Curtiss, is a patient at St.
Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota, where she is being treated for leukemia.
Shew as hospitalized at Medford Memorial for two weeks prior to the transfer to
St. Mary’s.
A senior at Abbotsford High School, Diane was voted queen of Dorchester Days
centennial celebration this past summer, and participated in the Neillsville
“Fairest of the Fair” race.
Contributions for Diane may be sent to the Owen-Curtiss Bank at Curtiss, or to
Mrs. Dale Thompson, Route 1, Curtiss.
The Dorchester firemen, Lions Club members, the American Legion and most
business places will also be selling tickets.
