Ebert, Lena (28 Nov 1871 – 8 Nov 1973)
Mrs. Lena Ebert, a former Colby resident, died November 8, 1973 at Wauwatosa,
where she had lived with a daughter.
Graveside services were held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, town of
Green Grove, on Monday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Steven Hasenstein officiated.
Mrs. Ebert was born November 28, 1871 in German, and arrived in the United
States when a young girl. After her marriage to William Ebert, the couple farmed
in the town of Green Grove. After the death of Mr. Ebert, she lived in Colby,
moving to Wauwatosa 25 years ago.
Survivors include a son, William Ebert Jr., Colby, a daughter, Mrs. Alfred
(Selma) Klieforth, Wauwatosa, a sister, Mrs. Anna Domer of Neenah; five
grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
