Maier, Noreen Lynette (13 August 1983)
Miss Noreen Lynette Maier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Maier of Thorp,
became the bride of David Edward Prokopiak, Thorp, and the late Mr. Prokopiak,
August 13 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Chapel in Thorp. The Rev. John W. Puerner
officiate at the Mass. Soloist was Debbie Olson and organist, Joanne Wittek.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, had a chantilly lace gown with
chapel-length train and a Camelot headpiece securing her veil of tulle and lace.
She carried a cascade of pink roses, stephanotis, white miniature carnations and
baby's breath.
Amie Maier was miniature bride; Nicky Maier, miniature bridegroom.
Miss Sandy Koniececzny was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cindy Rycerz, Lilly
Seubert and Tammy Drymiller. Their ensembles, in Lilac, light blue, suede rose
and sweet pea green, were complemented by halos of baby's breath tinted to match
their dresses.
Each had a nosegay of tinted and white miniature carnations and baby's breath.
Pat Seubert was best man. Groomsmen were Roger Rycerz, Terry Maier and Bob
Prokopiak and ushering were Larry Maier and Lambert Prokopiak.
The reception and dance ere at the Quonset Hall, Thorp. The Prokopiaks will live
on Route 2, Thorp.
