The first class to complete Pre-Service Nursing Assistant program at the
Marshfield campus of Mid-State Technical Institute were honored November 2, 1973
at a 3 p.m. ceremony.
The fourteen members completing the seven-week program received both classroom
instruction and supervised experience at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Norwood
Hospital, and the Marshfield Convalescent Center. Demonstrations and instruction
in resuscitation were given by Captain Robert Kult, Marshfield fire department
officer and MSTI first aid instructor.
Leah Kalepp of Abbotsford was a member of the class.
