Some 256 students will receive Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the
University of Wisconsin, River Falls following fall quarter. Approximately half
of these summer and fall graduates were presented with diplomas at the November
11, 1973 Commencement ceremony.
Commencement speaker, Dr. Marion e. Hawkins, the University’s Distinguished
Alumnus and Distinguished Teacher, spoke about the use of power in education and
how it affects students’ growth.
Among those to receive degrees is Dennis L. Schraufnagel Route 4, Colby, a
summer graduate, who will receive the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural
education degree, with a major in agricultural education.
