Ziebarth, Lorena L. (5 May 1898 – 10 Dec 1973)

Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiated at the services held Wednesday, December 12, 1973, at 1 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, for Mrs. Lorena L. Ziebarth, 75.

Mrs. Ziebarth died Monday, December 10, 1973 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield. The body lay in state Tuesday at Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford until time of service Wednesday. Interment was made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.

Mrs. Ziebarth, the former Lorina Libke, was born May 5, 1898, at Chippewa Falls, and received her education in schools there. She was married to Henry Ziebarth, who preceded her in death on November 1, 1973. The couple made their home in Abbotsford since 1922.

Survivors include two sons, Erwin of Milwaukee and Richard of Abbotsford, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Libke of Detroit, Michigan, and Frank Libke of Chippewa Falls, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Tichey of Chippewa Falls.

A sister also preceded her in death.
