The Daughter of the American Revolution, annually sponsor a contest open to
Senior girls of public and private schools. A senior girl selected as the local
school’s Good Citizen representative in the state and national contest must have
qualifications of leadership, dependability, service, and patriotism to an
outstanding degree. Savings bonds are given as state awards and a $10,000
scholarship for the national contest first place.
A faculty committee nominated several senior girls, than by rank order selection
one girl was selected to represent Abbotsford High School. We are proud to
announce that Cindy Pinter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pinter, R.R. 1,
Abbotsford, Wisconsin was selected as the local D.A.R. Good Citizen. Cindy
exemplifies these qualities and the faculty and student body wish her good luck
in the state and national contest, and express our congratulations to Cindy.
