Miss Diane Church, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Churkey, Withee, was a very happy and receptive bride-to-be as she opened the many pretty and useful gifts presented to her by a host of friends and relatives on Saturday, March 4, 1978 at St. John’s Lutheran Church Parlor. The bridal shower in her honor was given by her sister-in=law, Mrs. Kenneth Churkey of Stevens Point, and her very good friend, Bonnie Hopfensperger.

The guests were entertained with several games and prized were awarded the winners.

Mrs. James Larson won the door prized.
