Hautamaki, Edward A. (25 Sep 1936 – 19 Mar 1978)
Edward Alexander Hautamaki, 41, of 206 E. College Avenue, Appleton, formerly of
Owen, was found dead in his apartment Sunday, March 19, 1978. Death resulted
from natural causes.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 1978 at the Maurina Funeral
Home, Owen, with the Rev. David Wenger of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Longwood,
officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Robert Buss, Dennis Wilson, Richard Wilson, James
Kivisto, Dale Raatz and Gary Smith.
Her for the funeral of Edward Hautamaki and visiting from Wednesday through
Friday of last week at the Oscar Buss home, were the Robert Buss’ of Abbotsford
and with other relatives were Mrs. Elaine Sonner of Negaunee, Michigan, a nice,
James Kivisto, a nephew, and Don Kennedy.
Mr. Hautamaki was born September 25, 1936 in the town of Longwood. He attended
South Bright Grad School and Owen High School. He worked for Weyerhaeuser Co.,
Marshfield, and had lived at Appleton for the past eight years. He never
married.
Survivors are two brothers, William Hautamaki, Owen, and Reino Hautamaki,
Marshfield; four sisters, Mrs. Eino (Ella) Kivisto of Negaunee, Michigan, Mrs.
Oscar (Esther) Buss and Mrs. Sylvia Wilson, both of Owen, and Mrs. Gerald
(Evelyn) Quelle, Greenwood.
