Devine, Alice M. (12 Mar 1929 – 31 Mar 1978)

Alice M. Devine, age 49, a former Owen resident, died Thursday, March 31, 1978 in her apartment home in Milwaukee.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 3, 1978 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen, with the Rev. Richard Fliss, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Services were provided by the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.

She was born on March 12, 1929 in Owen, and graduated from Owen High School in 1947. She attended Eau Claire Beauty School of Cosmetology, and was a beautician for Irene’s Beauty Salon in Owen before being employed as a beautician in Milwaukee in 1950.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Devine of Owen; two sisters, Mrs. Sy (Betty) Janda of Owen, and Mrs. Thomas (Maureen) Jopke, Milwaukee; and one brother, Richard of Milwaukee.

Pallbearers were Henry Mauel Jr., Pete Devine, Edward Lehnen, Steve Janda, Robert Devine, and Milton Kellan.
