Dumler, Charlotte (29 Apr 1893 – 29 May 1978)
Mrs. Henry (Charlotte) Dumler, age 85, of RR #1, Owen, died at 9”50 p.m. Monday,
May 29, 1978 at the Havenet Nursing Home in Owen.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 1978, at Christ Lutheran
Church in Abbotsford, with the Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiating. Burial followed
in Dorchester Memorial (South) Cemetery.
The Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford provided the services.
The former Charlotte E. Erdman was born on April 29, 1893 in Russia. After her
marriage to Henry Dumler in 1912 they moved to the United States, settling in
Chicago. They farmed in the Town of Mayville and the Township of Green Grove.
From 1954 to 1966 they resided in Abbotsford. Since 1970 she has been a resident
at Havenet Nursing Home in Owen.
She is survived by four sons, Jack and Walter of Spencer, Elmer of Laramie,
Wyoming, and Harry of Owen; two daughters, Mrs. Herb (Marie) Opfergelt of
Florida, and Mrs. Henry (Irene) Fuhlbrugge of Chicago; 18 grandchildren and 9
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1969, one son, one daughter and one
brother.
