St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, held its annual Vacation Bible School from June 5 through June 9, 1978. The theme of this year was “Hosanna: God’s People Praise Him.” The materials were designed to help God’s people grown in their understanding of daily worship, and also worship during the major Christian holidays, such as Christmas, Easter and Pentecost. All were encouraged to participate (not only the students) to join in celebrating the greatness and goodness of God. Our praise resounded for all of His loving acts. 105 students attended this year’s session.
