Roohr, Gerald (1916? - 16 Jun 1978)
Gerald Roohr, age 60 years, formerly of the Township of Green Grove, died on
June 16, 1978 at Burlington Memorial Hospital, Wind Lake, Wisconsin.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 19, 1978 at 1:30 p.m. at the Mealy
Funeral Home, and burial followed in Norway Hill Cemetery.
Gerald Roohr was the son of the late Florence and John Roohr, and was born in
the Township of Green Grove. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He
recently retired from Allis Chalmers, where he had been employed as a welder for
30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; three sons, Eugene, Frederick and Thomas;
three daughters, Eileen, Anette and Barbara, all at home; two brothers and
sisters-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Roohr of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Roohr of California; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and
friends.
