Cheri Edrie Dietsche and Leslie Albert Kauth became husband and wife during a
wedding ceremony September 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Dietsche of Spencer and Mr. and
Mrs. Leroy Kauth of Loyal.
The Rev. William Ruhbusch officiated at the ceremony. Lori Ruhbusch was organist
while vocalists were Dave Lekie and Richard Propp.
She was given in marriage by her father and was seen in a white organza gown
with lace, pinafore-affect ruffles, cathedral train, matching picture hat, tulle
at the center back and finger-tip streamers. She carried a bouquet of white
roses, stephanotis, baby's breath and ivy.
Karen Heckel of Marshfield was maid of honor. Other bridal attendants were Miss
Penny Kauth of Spencer, Mrs. Laura Kauth of Spencer, Miss Vicki Dietsche of
Zephyr Hills, Florida, Miss Denise Reddy of Spencer and Miss Deb Oestrich of
Spencer.
They wore apricot and spice mint print gowns with flounced hemlines, spice
colored derby hats with apricot colored veiling and had arm bouquets of roses,
greens, baby's breath and rust streamers.
Kerry Dietsche and James Dietsche were ring bearers.
Joe Kauth of Marshfield was best man, while groomsmen were John Oblak of Loyal,
Steve Kauth, Ray Froeba, Tom Kauth and Rick Dietsche. Kulibert and Mike Kauth
seated wedding guests.
A reception, dinner and dance were at the American Legion Hall, Loyal.
The bride graduated from Spencer High School in 1980 and works for Fleet Farm.
Her husband is a 1977 Loyal High School graduate and is self-employed.
They are residing at 207 N. Pacific St., Spencer.
