Winkler, Bryce (2 February 1943 – 20 May 2022)
Bruce Winkler, age 79, of Neillsville, formerly of Granton, and the Town of
Lynn, died Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield.
Bruce Robert Winkler was born on February 2, 1943, in Chicago, IL the son of
Helmuth and Elsie (Scharf) Winkler. He was united in marriage to Tena Schlinsog
on October 17, 1964, at the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton. They later
divorced. Bruce worked as a truck driver at Trierweiler Construction in
Marshfield for over 30 years. He was a member of the Zion American Lutheran
Church in Granton.
He is survived by a son, Kevin Winkler of Wisconsin Rapids, a daughter, Theresa
(Tim) Josephson of Pulaski, five grandchildren, Tina (Jon) Martinson, Renee
(Nathan) Schroeder, Shaun (Melissa) Winkler, Nina Josephson and Jordyn
Josephson. He is further survived by great-grandchildren,
great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Fred (Laurie) Winkler of Granton.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Jessie “Mo” Winkler and
a daughter-in-law, Sarah Winkler.
A Celebration of Life will be held starting at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28,
2022, at Quicker’s Bar in Lynn.
