Sue Boss, member of Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority on the UW-River Falls
Campus.
Gamma Phi Beta is the oldest national sorority at River Falls. The international
sorority, with over 90 chapters in both Canada and the United States, was
founded in 1874 in Syracuse, New York.
One of the basic purposes is its philanthropic programs, which include
sponsorship of two camps for underprivileged girls and foundations to Girl
Scouts, Campfire Gils and Easter Seals.
Miss Boss, a sophomore at the university, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Boss of Rt. 1, Abbotsford.
