Beyreis, Ella (31 Oct 1886 – 31 Jan 1974)

Funeral services were held Saturday at Helke West Chapel, Wausau, for Mrs. Charles Beyreis, 87, who died January 31, 1974 at the Colby Nursing Home. The Rev. Gilbert Meyer of St. Stephen Lutheran Church officiated. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.

Mrs. Beyreis, the former Ella Ridderbusch, was born October 31, 1886 at Birnamwood. She was married December 23, 1923 to Charles Beyreis. Mr. Beyreis died December 5, 1967. A former Dorchester resident, she taught in Dorchester area schools. Retired from teaching she had taught 17 years in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Minnesota schools.

Survivors are a step-daughter, Mrs. Herman Ridderbusch, Abbotsford, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Garbish and Mrs. Earl Rundle, both of Wausau; three brothers, Fred and Herman, Abbotsford, and Louis, Wausau; one grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
