Reeves, Rose K. (17 Jan 1903 – 2 Feb 1974)
Funeral services for Mrs. Harold Reeves, 71, Abbotsford, were held Tuesday,
February 5, 1974 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford,
with Rev. Emil Hodnik officiating. Interment was in the Abbotsford Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jim Nikolay, Chris Reeves, Gerry Reeves, Greg Windsperger, Leo
Bumann and Danny Firnstahl.
Mrs. Reeves, the former Rose K. Hoppa, was born January 17, 1903 in Chicago. She
received her education in Chicago and Milan schools. Her marriage to Harold
Reeves took place June 1, 1921, at Milan. The couple lived in Abbotsford the
past 40 years, where she was a member of St. Bernard’s Altar Society.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Gary, St. Paul, and Ronald, Madison; four
grandchildren; two brothers, George Hoppa, Brookfield, and Arnold Hoppa,
Neillsville, and three sisters, Mrs. Rollo Collier, California, Mrs. Herb
Firnstahl, Colby, and Mrs. Don Schultz, Stratford.
