Hanson, Edgar W. (21 Feb 1898 – Feb 1974)
Word was received here by Mrs. Cornel Erickson of the death of her brother,
Edgar W. Hanson of Silverdale, Washington. Mr. Hanson was born at Ontario,
Wisconsin February 21, 1898, to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hanson. He moved with his
parents to a farm in the Town of Hoard in 1917. He married the former Almela
Blank of Thorp in 1928.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Marlyn, in the Air Force in Korea,
Douglas, Renton, Washington; a daughter, Joan, Mrs. Mabbot, Seattle; eight
grandchildren; three brothers, Harold, Ontario, Wisconsin, Earl Neillsville, and
Palmer, Bremerton, Washington; two sisters, Mae, Mrs. Robert Sprague of
Hammondsport, New York, and Ruth, Mrs. C. Erickson of Curtiss.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Carl.
Mr. Hanson had lived in the State of Washington for the past 18 years. He passed
away at his home Monday morning of a heart attack.
