Forty University of Wisconsin Center, Medford students have been awarded second semester scholarships by the Medford Scholarship Fund, according to Robert J. Larson, Director of Student Services at the center.

Area students receiving scholarships were:

-          Edward Bruger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Bruger, Curtiss.

-          Cheryl Fleming, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Fleming, Withee.

-          Dennis Schilling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Wehrman, Colby

-          Alvin Winchell, Dorchester
