Noah, Cheryl L. (9 October 1979 – 8 June 2022)
Cheryl L. Noah, 42, of Eau Claire, formerly of Greenwood, passed away at
Marshfield Medical Center on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
Cheryl Lynn Noah was born on October 2, 1979, in Marshfield, to Allan F. and
Brenda A. (Noeldner) Noah. She was raised and received her education in
Greenwood Public Schools, graduating from Greenwood High School in 1998. While
in high school, Cheryl worked during the summers at Nelson Muffler in
Neillsville, and at the Greenwood IGA in Greenwood. After high school, she
attended UW-Eau Claire for one year and then attended Chippewa Valley Technical
College for two years, earning an Associates of Arts degree in Computer
Information Systems. After college, Cheryl began working at Menards in Eau
Claire, where she worked for 21 years until retiring as a department manager due
to poor health. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Cheryl had many interests, but especially loved drinking wine with her friends,
attending Packers and Brewers games, many with her sisters, and being favorite
aunt to many nieces and nephews, crocheting blankets for them as well as many
other children.
She will be dearly missed by her parents: Al and Brenda Noah of Greenwood; three
siblings: Ann (Todd) Graski of Withee, Marcus (Jessica) Noah of Marshfield, and
Kourtney Groshek (Bill Huebsch) of Weston; nieces and nephews: Ryan, Alyssa,
Ben, Cassidy, Dan, Shyla, Sawyer, Gavin, Emma, Isabel, and Emily; many cousins
and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Herman and Lucille
Noeldner; her paternal grandparents: Arthur and Annie Noah, and Joyce Bombach;
her uncles: Donnie Noeldner, Nathan Noeldner, Richard Noah, Ronald Noah, Jim
Noah and Donald Noah; and her aunt, Dorothy Huth.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Our
Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Pastor Elizabeth Bier will officiate, and
burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ed
Noeldner, Gordon Noeldner, Randy Noeldner, Karl Noeldner, Todd Graski, Ben
Graski, Bill Huebsch and Robbie Gatz. Visitation will be held at the church on
Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Monday, at the
church, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
