Horn, Wanda (22 August 1981)
Wanda Horn of Menomonie and Michael Nusberger of Milwaukee were united in
wedding ceremonies at the Zion United Church of Christ in Greenwood on Saturday
afternoon, August 22. The Rev. Alwyn York officiated. Parents of the couple are
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Horn, Rt. 1 Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nusberger,
Wheeler.
Special music for the service was provided by Cindy Rubusch.
Serving as maid of honor was Ellen Schlough, a friend of the bride from
Menomonie. She was joined by Carol Nusberger, the groom’s sister of Wheeler, and
Bonnie Schielzeth, a sister from Madison.
On the groom’s side, Charlie Kindschy, a friend from Boyceville, was best man.
He was joined by Scott Nusberger, the groom’s cousin of Wheeler, and Randy Horn,
the bride’s brother of Greenwood. Ushering were Douglas Nusberger, Jr., a cousin
of Wheeler, and Myra Horn, the bride’s sister of Chippewa Falls. Ringbearer was
Joel Schielzeth, a nephew from Madison, while miniature bride was Kristine Horn,
a niece from Greenwood.
Following the service, a reception was held at the Greenwood American Legion
Hall.
The couple will make their home in Menomonie. The new Mrs. Nusberger is a
graduate of Greenwood High School and was employed by the Dunn County Health
Care Center. Her husband is a graduate of Germantown High School.
