St. Mary's Catholic Church at Colby was the setting for the February 9, 1974 ceremony uniting Kathleen Mohan and Larry Wall in marriage. Father Francis Rushman presided at the 1:30 p.m. nuptials.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Mohan, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wall, Lublin.
The bride appeared in a full length bridal gown of nylon organza and Chantilly lace featuring a high neckline and long full sleeves. She wore a matching lace edged cathedral length mantilla. Her bouquet was an arrangement of red roses, white carnations and lily of the valley.
Miss Cindy Mohan, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. She was attired in an empire waist style gown, white bodice and aqua skirt. She carried a bouquet of white and aqua carnations.
A buffet supper was served at the Sword, a reception and dance followed supper.
The new Mrs. Wall is a 1972 graduate of Colby
High School, and is presently attending UWC-Marshfield, studying nursing.
Her husband is a 1970 graduate of Gilman High School and is employed at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He works on a part-time basis as a
salesman of fire equipment. The couple resides at Green Acres Terrace,
Colby.
