Norman B. Kommer, Abbotsford State Bank’s newly appointed Executive Vice
President, assumed duties Monday morning at the bank.
Coming to Abbotsford from Marshfield, Kommer was formerly an assistant cashier
at Central State bank.
He replaces Ron Meyer, who has taken over the duties of executive officer at
Tri-State Bank at Marshfield.
The new Abbotsford State Bank vice president has approximately 12 years banking
experience, starting at Spencer State Bank in 1962, working for Central State
Bank on two separate occasions, and working at banks in the Twin Cities area.
Kommer and his wife Virginia, along with their five children, Jim, 10; Debbie,
9; Robin, 6; Tammy, 4, and Jonalee, 3 months, will be moving to Abbotsford about
the end of the school year. They are going to build a new home in Abbotsford.
Stressing continued good banking service, Kommer stated that he wants to provide
the Abbotsford area with continued good service and bank growth.
