Vane L. Gokey, Theodore C. Schoenfuss and John W. Franz, all of Colby, were recently awarded service pins b General Telephone Company of Wisconsin.

Gokey, who is a switchman with the company, has completed 25 years of service with the firm. This qualifies him for membership in the company’s Quarter Century Club, and he will receive his one-diamond service pin at the next regular meeting of the club.

Schoenfuss recently completed 20 years of service, and was awarded the company’s four-star service pin. He is a plant supervisor, installation and maintenance, for the company.

Franz has completed five years of service, and was awarded the company’s one-star service pin. He is an installer repairman for the company.
