Seidel, Gordon F. (3 Aug 1926 – 05 May 1974)
A former Dorchester resident, Gordon Frank Seidel, 47, Milwaukee, died Sunday at
Milwaukee County General Hospital. Cause of death was kidney failure. He had
been ill for several months.
Mrs. Seidel was born August 3, 1926 at Colby. He attended Dorchester Grade and
High Schools, and was graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He
was employed by the City of Milwaukee until his illness.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8 at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in
Milwaukee. The Teob-Peppey-Klemmer Funeral Home was in charge.
He is survived by his widow, Virginia, two sons, Michael, 20, and John 12; one
daughter, Kathleen 16, at home; his father, Frank Seidel, Colby; two brothers,
Donald Dorchester, and Nyle, Menomonee Falls.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Erna Seidel, and a son, David.
Attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Seidel and family, Dorchester,
Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Bach, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Seidel, Medford.
