Holtzhausen, Shirley A. (10 Jul 1930 – 24 Apr 1974)
Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian Church at Abbotsford on
Saturday, April 27, 1974, for Shirley A. Holtzhausen, 43, who died April 24,
1974 at Wausau Hospital North.
The Rev. Homer Roberts officiated at the service, and interment was made in the
Abbotsford Cemetery. Mrs. Betty Loucks was organist.
Pallbearers were Don Kalepp, Clarence Vircks, Bill Beil, Don Wittkamp, Eugene
Strathman and Jim Heindl.
Miss Holtzhausen was born July 10, 1930 at Abbotsford. She attended Abbotsford
High School and Eau Claire State College, graduating with a B.A. degree. She
taught school at Bruce for three years, and at Wausau Public School for eight
and one-half years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Easter Star, and Royal
Neighbors.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Helen Holtzhausen, Abbotsford, and a
brother, David Holtzhausen, Colby.
