Slark, Victoria Lynn (26 September 1981)
Victoria Lynn Slark and Terry James Gotter were united in marriage on Saturday
early afternoon, September 26, in Marshfield’s Immanuel Lutheran Church. The
Rev. Bob Reinhart of Immanuel and Fr. Schumacher of St. Stephen’s parish of
Chili officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Slark, Rt. 1
Granton, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gotter, Marshfield.
Gary Movritz and Mary Castner, both of Marshfield, offered special music for the
service.
Jane Amacher of Marshfield was matron of honor. She was joined by Patti Molina
of Minnesota, Sheri Slark of Granton and Debbie Slark, and Vickie Gotter, both
of Marshfield. On the groom’s side, Steve Martens of Marshfield was bestman. He
was joined by Mike Slark, Randy Johansson, Jeff Gotter and Perry Paschel, all of
Marshfield. Ushering were Dave Becker of Marshfield and Ricky Slark of Granton.
The bride chose an organza gown, featuring a Queen Anne neckline, bishop
sleeves, pleated front panel and cathedral-length train trimmed with Chantilly
lace. She carried a cascade of wine-colored roses, stephanotis, pink carnations,
all accented with ivy and fern and ribbon streamers. Her attendants wore gowns
of wine-colored lustra-glo, featuring jackets and full circle skirt. Each
carried a lace fan with wine-colored mini-carnations, pink cosmos and asters,
accented with bamboo fern and ribbon streamers.
The Marshfield Labor Temple served as the site for the post-wedding reception.
The bride is a 1980 graduate of Marshfield Senior High and is employed as an
assistant manager pf the Fence Post in Marshfield’s Northway Mall. The groom is
a 1979 graduate of the same school and is employed by Mauer’s Heating and
Refrigeration of Marshfield. The couple will make their home in Marshfield.
