The 162 member eighty-seventh graduating class of Colby High School will receive diplomas at commencement exercises tonight, Thursday, May 23, 1974, at the program in the high school gymnasium at 8 p.m.

Jeffery Brown, class president, will preside at the commencement exercises, at which Rev. Kenneth Dix, pastor of the First United Church of Christ, Colby, will give the invocation and benediction.

Class speakers are Marilyn Bauer and Michael Lamont.

Music will be provided by the high school chorus under the direction of Miss Dolores Beaudette. Carol Kops and Mary Hedler will sing the class son, “Morning Has Broken.” The high school band, directed by James Rickard, will play for the processional and recessional.
