Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dehnel, owners of the Abbotsford Dry Cleaners, have sold
the business to Ms. Lucy Fosterling, Wausau, who took over the operation May 17,
1974.
Mr. and Mrs. Dehnel are retiring from the business due to Mrs. Dehnel’s health.
The family will be moving to Wausau, and Mr. Dehnel will return to construction
work. They have been engaged in the dry cleaning business the past two years,
having purchased it from W. G. Danielson in 1972.
Ms. Fosterling has five children, Ken, 18, Dennis, 16, Mike, 12, Bobby, 11, and
Teena, 10. The family will moved to Abbotsford when the current school session
is ended.
Ms. Fosterling plans to continue the operation of the business in the same
manner as it has been operated in the past.
