‘Great Scott’ Visits Neillsville Public Library (2022)
Ventriloquist Scott Obermann from the Milwaukee/Mukwonago area, also known as
‘Great Scott,” performed June 15 at the Neillsville Public Library (NPL) to kick
off the library’s schedule of performers for the summer reading program. About
25 people attended. “Great Scott had all the kids and adults alike rolling with
laughter as he promoted reading and fun with magic and cut frog ventriloquism
for storytelling,” wrote library director Janay Ziebell in a press release. The
library will have various entertainers and craft days on Wednesdays at 1 p.m.
The events are open to the community.
