Granton FFA Received Donation (Grant - 2022)
Gina Hinker of TRICOR Insurance presents Katie Reider, Granton FFA advisor, a grant check in the amount of $400 from Mutual of Wausau Insurance. The grant was awarded based on the application that explained how the FFA program would incorporate the funds within the program and community. Next spring, each Granton Elementary student will receive a pizza packet to grow their own vegetables for harvest to make a homemade pizza with their family. “This kit will teach the students the process of growing, harvesting, nutritional facts, providing for their family and creating lasting memories along the way with their family,” wrote Hinker in a press release.
