Mrs. Madge Bishop received her Master’s degree in communicative language in deaf
education in ceremonies Sunday, May 12, 1974 at the University of Wisconsin,
Stevens Point. Dr. E. Sherwood Bishop conferred the degree on his wife, Madge.
Mrs. Bishop received her B.S. degree in deaf education from the University of
Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and has taught in the Milwaukee and Tallahassee, Florida
school systems. She has accepted a position on the University of Wisconsin,
Stevens Point staff for the fall term.
Attending the graduation ceremony were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton A.
Fleege, and her grandmother, Mrs. Walter M. Hansen, Abbotsford.
