As a young man Ron had been employed at Marathon Electric and then as a semi-truck driver for Schneider Transport and Roehl Transport. Lastly, he worked for Milestone Materials until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, (he and Sharon would go on an annual fishing trip to Canada) camping, visiting the casino, UTV riding, reading and spending time with his family. Ron took pride in so many things, loved keeping up a beautiful yard and helping Sharon with flowers and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon, and their children, Shelly (Chris) Neudorf, Rhonda Urlaub, Tina Schultze (Dave Pankratz), Kris (Alan) Lehman and Lee (Megan) Umnus.
